1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GetHireVault ("the Platform"), operated by AI Resume Builder, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

GetHireVault provides AI-powered career tools including resume building, cover letter generation, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) score optimization, skills gap analysis, mock interview preparation, resignation letter drafting, and career path analysis. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate content based on user-provided inputs.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Platform offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through Creem, our third-party payment processor and Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorize Creem to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your selected plan.

Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy available at gethirevault.com/refunds.
Prices are displayed in USD and may vary by region due to applicable taxes.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate resumes, cover letters, and other career documents. You acknowledge and agree:

AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may require human review and editing.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of any AI-generated content.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before use.
AI-generated content does not constitute professional career advice, legal advice, or guaranteed employment outcomes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its related systems.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Platform.
Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute AI-generated content without authorization.
Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.

AI-Specific Restrictions:

No prompt injection or manipulation. Do not attempt to manipulate, bypass, or exploit the AI system through crafted inputs, prompts, or workarounds intended to produce unintended outputs or bypass safety controls.
No misleading or fraudulent content. Do not use the Platform to generate resumes, cover letters, or career documents containing knowingly false, misleading, or fabricated information — including fake credentials, fictitious employment history, or falsified qualifications.
No automated abuse. Do not use scripts, bots, or automated tools to interact with the AI features, bypass usage limits, or perform bulk generation intended for resale or distribution.
No harassing, discriminatory, or harmful content. Do not use the Platform to generate content that is harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, or promotes harm against individuals or groups.
No impersonation of third parties. Do not generate content that impersonates real companies, organizations, or individuals for deceptive purposes.
Compliance with employment laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated career content complies with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data protection laws in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use restrictions. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent account termination without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, features, and AI models, is owned by AI Resume Builder and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you upload (resume data, personal information). You retain ownership of AI-generated content produced by the Platform for your use, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetHireVault and AI Resume Builder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, employment opportunities, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Platform. The Platform provides tools on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting support or deleting your account.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
